Breanna's Blessings BOOKS & BEARS FOR KIDS AT MARY BRIDGE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

On Saturday, July 29, 2006 we will host a community celebration for friends, family,
and the public from 5 PM - 7:30 PM as I prepare to head off to Nationals in
Connecticut. We are asking that guests please bring one brand new stuffed
animal and/or new book (unwrapped-1 per family). This event will be held in the
gymnasium at Parkland Lutheran School on 123rd and Pacific Avenue South.
(Highway 7) If you would like to donate items in addition to a stuffed animal,
please visit Mary Bridge Children's Hospital donation link or you can view the items
below. They need many items for all ages of children. We will deliver those items as
well.
I know how scary it can be in a hospital before a surgery, or when something tragic
has happened to someone you love. I was three years old when I was a patient at
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. My mom, sister and I were in a car accident, a
drunk driver hit our car head on. My mom and I were hurt very badly, but my older
sister was okay. My back broke and now I'm paralyzed. I have to use a wheelchair
every day to get around. I can't walk anymore and I can't feel my legs. I don't let
what happened to me 13 years ago stop me from living my life. I've had 10
surgery's since then. All of them were at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
